Opis
Magnet “SMELLS LIKE MUSEUM,” created by the Notranjska Museum Postojna, inspired by an anecdote.
Otroci so stremeli vanjo odprtih ust in goltali njene besede. [smeh]
Anecdote:
The team from the Notranjska Museum was conducting a workshop for children at a local kindergarten. The educator presented various museum objects, including a brown bear bone. The children stared at it with open mouths, hanging on educator´s every word. Educator decided to let each child hold the bone so they could examine it closely, feel its weight, and even smell it. The bone was carefully passed around until it reached a little girl. The educator asked her if the bone was heavy or if it had any smell. “YES!” she replied. Surprised, the educator asked further: “What does it smell like?” Without hesitation, the girl shouted: “LIKE THE MUSEUM!” [laughter]
Since it seems that the objects (and perhaps even the curators) already “smell like museum,” we decided to use the little girl’s story as inspiration for new museum products, including magnets and socks.
